The Four Agreements: Be Impeccable with your Word

The Four Agreements

Be Impeccable with your Word.

Jesus said, “Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be No’.”

There is no right or wrong way to Be Impeccable with Your word.  There is no magic formula to help us formulate what we want to say.  For me, it means that I am using my words for Truth and Love honoring who God created me to be.  I think about being impeccable with my words when I am speaking to others, but I rarely think about what it means for me to be impeccable with my words towards myself.  I am way too truthful with myself, but am I loving?

I am not sure that I can fully be mindful of my words with others unless I first begin the task of becoming aware of my inner dialogue.

May we find the courage to be both loving and truthful with ourselves today.
